Between 2026-05-26 15:02:31 UTC and 2026-05-26 15:11:20 UTC, our database experienced an unexpected restart due to an underlying AWS infrastructure failure. The hardware failure triggered AWS's automated recovery mechanisms, and once recovery completed, our services were restored.
During this period, our Admin console, Platform, and Data ingestion components were unavailable. Importantly, the Push Security browser extension continued to protect users throughout the disruption — all blocking and enforcement actions operate locally within the extension itself and do not depend on our Platform.
As noted in our earlier update, security controls continued to function normally throughout the disruption, but detection events and browser activity events generated during the 15-minute window were not captured and cannot be backfilled.
We are adding additional protections to prevent AWS infrastructure failures from causing such disruptions to our services in the future.
