Push identified and fixed a bug that prevented the sending of messages for the SaaS discovery ChatOps topic used for security team notifications. This topic sends messages when Push observes newly discovered SaaS apps and third-party integrations.
The bug was introduced July 4, 2023, and fixed on August 1.
While Push continued to observe and record new apps and new integrations in the Push admin console normally, no ChatOps messages for this topic were triggered during the affected time period. No other ChatOps topics were affected.
Push has improved its monitoring for ChatOps to prevent future similar issues.
